Guest Service Agent - Work from Home - Days & Weekends - $19/h

Small Town Hospitality owns and operates ten unique lodging properties in Canada & the USA. We are looking to add a part time Hotel Guest Service Agent for week days/evenings and weekend days/evenings. This person will work from a home office and will answer calls to assist guests and complete reservations for all nine properties (calls are routed to a central line). The position pay starts at $18.00/hour. The position hours are part-time, flexible. Typical shifts would be from 8:00am - 4:00pm, 4:00pm - 12:00am (midnight) and 2:00pm - 9:00pm. Weekend availability is required. Traits & skills required to be successful in this role: - Well-spoken and ability to communicate effectively. - Ability to use computers, type quickly and learn hotel reservations program. - Ability to "smile" through the phone when speaking with guests. - Ability to handle multiple calls at a time and remain calm and professional. - Ability to patiently answer questions and be a positive resource to guests. - Willingness to confidently present lodging properties and secure bookings from each call. - Previous hotel or bookkeeping experience is preferred. - Ability to work very independently but with the support of the office manager and property ownership. - Ability to complete general bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable, posting invoice payments, payroll etc. ---- If you have a passion for customer service, are very organized and think you can make a positive impact on guests (over the phone/email), please reach out.
