Senior Mechanical Engineer (Corning)

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in equipment design and manufacturing environments to join a leading team at Sullivan Park, Corning, NY.Key Responsibilities:• Design and develop mechanical/process equipment using SolidWorks• Support installation, startup, and debugging of equipment on-site• Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for structural validation• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, controls, etc.)• Work closely with vendors and manage equipment build & installationRequirements:• 7+ years of mechanical design experience• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and FEA• Experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment environments• Hands-on experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and installation• Knowledge of machine safety standards (OSHA)Location: Corning, NY (Onsite)Duration: 12 months (possible extension)Travel: Up to 25%Open to non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.
