DescriptionTo ensure that all members and guests have an unforgettable golfing experience.RequirementsEssential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:Ensure that exceptional service is provided and that our guests enjoy a great golf experienceGuest check in and salesGolf Shop merchandising, displays and upkeepWorking effectively with team members in all departmentsSupport the Golf Pro with events and promotionsAnswer questions about activities and servicesOther duties as assignedKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExcellent sales and customer service skills in EnglishExperience with the game of golf an assetAbility to follow instructionAn eye for detail and a good knowledge of the surrounding areas.Ability to multi taskAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionComputer skillsMust be able to work both day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidaysEducation/Experience/CertificationsHigh school education requiredPrior hospitality experience preferredAt least one-year customer service experience preferredKnowledge of the game of golf preferredWork Environment/Physical DemandsLong periods of standing, hearing, speakingReading from a computer screen and keyboardingMust be able to stand & walk throughout the day, including on uneven surfacesMust be able to frequently lift, push, pull & carry up to 20 lbs.Must be able to bend, squat and twist on an occasional basisMust have normal vision (corrected) including close and color vision, hearing and verbal communication
