Closed on federal holidays.Employment Options and Pay:W-2 Employee: $118.75 per hour, $1246 weekly per diems, $5996 gross weekly pay (based on 40 hours), $2000 travel allowance1099 Independent Contractor: $150 per hour, $6000 gross weekly pay (based on 40 hours), $2000 travel allowancePosition Overview: ZCCHC is seeking a licensed Dentist to provide comprehensive dental services to our rural Native community. You will join a dedicated team delivering preventive, diagnostic, and restorative care while supporting community education and outreach.Requirements:Doctorate in Dentistry from an accredited schoolActive, unrestricted U.S. state license in DentistryClinical experience demonstrating the ability to independently manage a caseloadKnowledge of anesthetic and pharmaceutical requirementsDuties:Perform diagnostic, preventive, and restorative dental procedures, including endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric careFit crowns, bridges, and dentures; provide preventive orthodontic servicesAdminister anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and analgesiaEducate patients on oral health and participate in community education programsReview dental history, interpret x-rays, and maintain accurate EHR documentationEnsure proper use and preventive maintenance of dental equipmentComply with IHS and ZCCHC policies, quality standards, and infection control protocolsCommunity: ZCCHC is located on the Zuni Pueblo, 150 miles west of Albuquerque in the high desert of New Mexico. We serve a population of about 14,000, primarily Zuni and Navajo, where language, customs, and traditions are deeply valued. Our health center offers family medicine, 24/7 emergency care, inpatient services, and a range of specialty care, including dental.
