Job Description : Senior Business Development Manager Location: Mahwah NJ Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our teams. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including general contractors and residential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a deep understanding of the construction industry, although direct industry experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Client Relationship Management: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and residential clients. - Attend networking events, conferences, and industry-related functions to build and strengthen relationships with potential clients. - Organize and host client events to foster long-term partnerships and drive business opportunities. - Sales Process Management: - Collaborate with the bidding and estimating teams to quarterback the sales process from lead generation through deal closure. - Regularly follow up with prospects, providing consistent communication to guide them through the decision-making process. - Document all follow-ups, client interactions, and feedback in the CRM system to ensure accurate and comprehensive records. - Analyze reasons for any lost deals and provide insights to the team for continuous improvement. - Marketing & Event Coordination: - Develop and manage a comprehensive calendar of industry events and client engagements to maximize exposure and business opportunities. - Lead marketing efforts, including creating strategies to enhance brand visibility and reach target audiences effectively. - Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure that marketing materials, campaigns, and messaging align with company goals. - CRM Management: - Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the CRM system, ensuring that all client interactions, leads, and opportunities are thoroughly documented. - Utilize CRM data to track progress, identify trends, and report on business development activities to senior leadership. Qualifications: - Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, ideally within the construction or real estate industry. - Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail. - High energy, enthusiasm, and a hunger to win in a competitive market. - Experience in CRM management and a solid understanding of sales processes. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to and engage with senior-level executives. - Ability to travel as needed to attend events and meet with clients.
