GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Wilen is driven by industry-leading agency services and cutting-edge direct mail production. We provide strategic direct marketing solutions for national brands, leveraging innovative variable data technology, to turn concepts into finished digital and physical products, all in one seamless process. The Packer works at the end of the production line to handle, organize, and package printed direct mail materials. This position ensures that finished products are accurately counted, properly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipping. The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced printing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to): All lawful directives of your supervisor or a member of Company management. Collect, stack, and organize printed direct mail materials from the end of the machine. Count, bundle, and package finished products according to job specifications. Verify quality by checking for defects, misprints, or incorrect counts before packing. Place completed packages into cartons, skids, or pallets for shipping. Apply labels, shrink wrap, or other packaging materials as required. Assist with staging finished pallets for shipping and maintaining accurate counts. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area including machines. Communicate with machine operators, supervisors, and shipping staff to ensure production goals are met. Perform other duties as assigned to support production and shipping needs. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in commercial printing, packaging, or warehouse environments a plus. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate counts. Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work 12hrs shift 5-6 days a week. WORKING CONDITIONS: This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting materials. Work is performed in a noisy and fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. This job description is subject to change from time to time at the Company’s discretion.
