Facility Security OfficerAustin, TX 78759OverviewSCCI is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team! While we are looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO), candidates that meet the preferred skills of this job will be considered for a dual role as an FSO and Information System Security Officer (ISSO). In this position you will manage personnel and industrial security for cleared programs while leading cybersecurity and RMF compliance for company information systems. This is a hands-on position supporting DoD contracts in a cleared contractor environment. This position is available for immediate hire and is located in Austin, TX.SCCI offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability benefits, 401k with Company Match, time off consisting of 2 weeks of paid vacation, 48 hours of sick/personal leave, and 11 paid Holidays.ResponsibilitiesServe as Facility Security Officer: Manage personnel clearances, continuous adjudication, visit requests, facility clearance maintenance, SF-86 oversight, insider threat program support, security education/training, industrial security audits, and liaison with DSS/DoD security officesServe as Information Systems Security Officer: Implement and maintain RMF/ACAS/continuous monitoring, oversee system security plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, vulnerability remediation, incident response coordination, and security control assessmentsMaintain and update security policies, SOPs, and compliance artifacts for NISPOM, NIST SP 800-53/800-171, DoD 8500-series, and CMMC requirementsSupport contract security requirements, facility inspections, and prepare for/participate in government assessmentsTrack and report metrics, deliverables, and compliance status to leadershipQualificationsEssential Skills and Experience:Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active DoD ClearanceHigh school diplomaA minimum of five (5) years combined experience in facility/industrial security and information/cybersecurity within the DoD contractor environment.Preferred Skills and Experience:At least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, or SSCPCertified Facility Security Officer (CFSO) or equivalent NISPOM trainingDoD 8570/8140 baseline certifications (e.g., Security+, CASP+, or higher IAT/IAM)SCCI is committed to providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to meet the needs of employees and their families.
