As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a critical role in the production build. This role is focused on executing standardized manufacturing processes, supporting production schedules, and ensuring hardware is built to quality and configuration requirements. You will work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to support production throughput, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across complex electromechanical and RF systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.ResponsibilitiesAssemble electromechanical subassemblies per work instructions, engineering drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment safely and effectivelyPerform in-process inspections and final visual inspections to verify build qualityIdentify defects, workmanship issues, or missing components and escalate appropriatelySupport production schedules by completing builds on time and communicating blockersSupport prototype builds and engineering activities including mechanical modifications and reworkOperate standard shop equipment (drill press, band saw, belt sander, etc.) to perform light fabrication and part modificationFabricate or modify simple brackets, fixtures, or mechanical components to support engineering and production effortsAssist with general lab and production floor organization and equipment setup as neededQualifications5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing involving mechanical or electromechanical assemblyDemonstrated experience supporting the production of complex electromechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructionsExperience using standard shop tools and performing basic mechanical fabrication tasksAbility to work independently and meet production deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with PLM (e.g., Arena) and ERP (e.g., NetSuite) systemsBackground in electronics manufacturing and mechanical assemblyHands-on experience with hardware bring-upAbility to thrive in a startup or rapidly evolving environmentITAR REQUIREMENTSTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
