Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
We are looking for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to join and be part of our busy practice. The candidate should be able to multitask in a fast pace out patient setting and willing to work with all ages. Candidate should be friendly, a team-worker, passionate, have good computer skills and be able to adapt to change.

Responsibilities and Duties
Job Description:
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Obtaining vital signs and enter in electronic medical record.
Gathering/documenting/updating pertinent health information, electronically.
Perform vision and hearing test, EKG, lung function test
Acts as a chaperone for health care providers during patient examinations as requested and assists with all procedures.
Act as scribe when needed
Performs CLIA waived laboratory procedures .
Assists the physician/provider with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams, circumcision, I & D, biopsy etc
Administer vaccines and therapeutic injection
Performs and records lab control and refrigerator log
Vaccine inventories
Assists in providing education to the patient.
Answers telephones, leaves complete messages when appropriate
* Organizes and prepares exam rooms, lab and work areas including: cleaning, stocking, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Assist in referral process
Assist in HEDIS measures and quality improvement
Answer a multi-line phones and directing the caller to the appropriate party or take a detailed message.
Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
Calling patients to Confirm or Reschedule upcoming appointments.
Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying Doctor's of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding of service delays.
Comforts patients with support and guidance as needed; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Verify insurance benefits online
Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting copay's and balances on accounts.
Provides patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office polices and legally required documents.
Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information(HIPPA).
Maintains operations by following office policies and procedures.
Maintain hard copy of patients information to be scanned into EHR files.
Be a Team Player
Required to be uptodate on COVID 19 vaccination.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
