Sr Tax Accountant

We’re partnering with a rapidly scaling organization that is building out its tax and finance function to support continued expansion and searching for a Senior Tax Accountant. This is an opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant who wants to move beyond compliance and step into a role with real visibility, influence, and upside. If you come from Big 4, a large regional public accounting firm, or a corporate tax environment and are looking for a seat at the table in a high-growth business—this is the move.What You’ll DoPrepare and review federal, state, and local income tax filingsSupport tax provision (ASC 740) including analysis of deferreds and effective tax rate driversPartner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP& A, and Operations on tax impacts of business decisionsAssist with tax planning strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize riskAs a backup, support sales & use tax, property tax, and other indirect tax matters as neededCoordinate with external advisors and auditorsContribute to process improvements as the company scales (automation, documentation, controls)Support special projects including M& A activity, entity structuring, and nexus analysisFor immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field2+ years of relevant tax experience in - Big 4, Large regional public accounting or Corporate/in-house tax functionStrong understanding of tax compliance and provision conceptsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environmentRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
