Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM)AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.We are seeking a Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to own the strategy and execution of global rack manufacturing programs that directly enable AWS's capacity delivery to customers. In this role, you will be the single-threaded owner for manufacturing execution—accountable for end-to-end delivery of rack capacity from build plan creation through production shipment across AWS's global contract manufacturing network of 15+ sites. You will define the multi-year manufacturing operations roadmap, turning ambiguous supply chain challenges into scalable, repeatable systems that deliver infrastructure at unprecedented scale.As the Senior TIPM, you will drive end-to-end visibility from build plan creation through production execution, owning the full material lifecycle from port of import through final rack delivery. You will navigate highly ambiguous, constraint-driven environments where material availability, vendor capacity, and customer demand signals shift weekly—making high-judgment decisions that balance cost, speed, and delivery reliability across competing priorities. This role requires exceptional program management skills, deep technical understanding of manufacturing operations and hardware BOMs, and the ability to influence technical and business decisions across AWS Infrastructure, hardware engineering, procurement, and contract manufacturing partners—driving alignment on programs that directly impact AWS's ability to deliver customer capacity commitments globally.Key Job ResponsibilitiesBuild Plan Execution & Production ReadinessMaterial Lifecycle & Inventory StrategyCross-Functional Program ManagementData, Tooling & MechanismsRisk Management & Strategic PlanningA day in the lifeReview overnight production output and CTB status across global manufacturing sites, triaging any blockers or missed targetsLead morning cross-functional stand-up with supply chain, vendor operations, and engineering to align on the day's priorities and escalationsDeep dive into site-level build plan gaps—analyzing PO vs. CTB Full Kit deltas, reviewing BOM-level material constraints, and coordinating with procurement on material ETAsAssess regional inventory positions and warehouse utilization, adjusting material placement recommendations to support upcoming buildsPrepare and present weekly build plan status to senior leadership, highlighting risks, recommending trade-offs, and securing decisions on production prioritiesWork with contract manufacturing partners on capacity planning, production sequencing, and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with NPI and hardware engineering teams on upcoming rack type introductions, ensuring manufacturing readiness gates are on trackClose out the day by reviewing next-week production forecasts and ensuring material flow plans are aligned with demand signalsAbout the teamDiverse Experiences: AWS values diverse experiences.
