Regional Operations Manager, Veterinary - Denver, CO Area

Job DescriptionThis team member must be located in the Denver, CO area and be able to travel 75% via car/plane.The Regional Operations Manager will support local practice management with the general day-to-day operations for current clinics and any future acquisitions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supervises operations of 15+ Blue River PetCare hospitals with goal of generating revenue and profit growth.Works with local management team and veterinarians to ensure a high standard of patient care is being practiced.Acts as liaison between hospitals and Blue River management, reporting visit findings and offering recommendations on how to improve profitability.Provides staffing support in the areas of inventory, scheduling, compliance, training, recruiting, and best retention practices when necessary.Ensures Hospital is compliant with OSHA, DEA, AVMA and other local regulations.Maintains proficiencies on Blue River PetCare platforms and remain current on all policies.Coaches local management team on managing revenue & expenses, how to staff and schedule appropriately, management of inventory levels and pricing, along with other administrative functions.Fosters a positive and productive work environment at local clinics.Recruiting, onboarding, and training of practice managers.Partners with Human Resources team on employee relations, compliance, issue mitigation and best practices.Partners with corporate operations on capital expenditures, liability issues, and vendor considerations.Perform duties of practice manager for hospitals as needed.Other duties and projects as assigned.
