We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Program Support Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our division through a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative activities. As a Program Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our agency’s programs, policies, and operations. This role can sit in Fort Forth, San Juan, or Houston. 100% onsite.Major DutiesProvide comprehensive program support by assisting with the planning, development, implementation, and documentation of assigned programs. Analyze and interpret federal regulations to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Conduct research on program operations to identify trends and areas for improvement; recommend and help implement internal controls to enhance efficiency. Prepare and create documents and tools to support internal collaborative processes. Serve as a backup for the Records & Tracking Analyst, including tasks such as updating the National Disqualified List (NDL) with the United States Department of Agriculture, maintaining the Texas Summer Food Service Program Excluded List, and managing the State Agency List. Manage all NDL files and track requests for removal from these lists. Assist in ensuring adherence to appropriate records management practices, including maintenance of storage areas, file rooms, workstations, and conference rooms; coordinate bulk item removal and file organization. Provide support in preparing administrative reports, studies, and specialized projects as required. What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Proven experience in program support, research, planning, policy analysis, and administrative duties. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret federal regulations and ensure compliance. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. Experience in managing records and tracking lists, with attention to detail. Ability to prepare comprehensive documents and reports and support internal collaborative processes. Exciting opportunity detailsRate: $28 per hour. Length of engagement: 9/23/2024 to 11/15/2024. Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Location: Fully Onsite in Houston, Ft. Worth or San Juan, TX.
