Network Engineer
Title: Network Engineer 5Location: Beaverton, OR (Friday WFH)Contract length: 12+ months As a Wireless Network Engineer 5 on global wireless team, you will architect, lead, and optimize wireless infrastructure initiatives across worldwide footprint. Thishighly specialized position requires deep technical expertise, leadership in wireless strategy, and hands-on experience with advanced wireless security and client experience monitoring tools. You will be responsible for the most complex and business-critical wireless projects, serving as the top escalation point and a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders.Desired Candidate Profile:Minimum required years of experience:8+ years of progressive wireless network engineering experience in large-scale, global enterprise environments.Education requirements:•Current CWNA Certification (CWSP, CWDP, or CCNP Wireless preferred).Must have skills:•Exceptional communication skills—able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.•Proven experience leading wireless infrastructure projects from concept through deployment and optimization.Nice to have skills:•Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills. - This is not a lead role but experience with this will be helpful with a small team like this.Software/technical requirements:•Expert knowledge of Cisco wireless technologies (AireOS/IOS-XE, Catalyst Center, Prime Infrastructure) and advanced hands-on experience with Cisco ISE for enterprise Radius, AAA and policy management.•Demonstrated expertise with client experience monitoring tools such as NetAlly, or similar platforms, including deployment, configuration, and analytics for wireless client health and performance.•Advanced proficiency with Ekahau software for predictive and active WiFi design, including ECSE certification.Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and managing RMA/TAC cases with Cisco.
