PHARMACY TECH PD

DutiesAssists pharmacists in dispensing and filling medication orders.Fills unit-dose med carts on a daily basis for 24 hour fill.Assists pharmacist in IV room when assigned.Performs daily rounds at timnely intervals to distribute medications to all units/departments.Transports medication carts in an accurate and timely fashion.Fills IV medication bins when low and add-vantaging on a daily basis.Fills all PYXIS and regular floor stock on a daily basis to all units/departments requesting.Appropriately checks in and stocks all Cardinal (Wholesaler) orders as well as various other vendors.Replenishes expired Emergency Boxes.Assists in the training of all new Pharmacy Technicians.EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 1-2 Years Hospital And/or Retail ExperienceCREDENTIALS + QUALIFICATIONS:Certified Pharmacy Technician from an accredited course requiredRegistered Pharmacy Technician within the state of NJ required
