Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report.Project OverviewThe project is a 1.3 GW simple-cycle power generation facility located in Millersport, Ohio, being constructed adjacent to a hyperscale data center campus. The facility includes multiple power generation technologies consisting of Solar Titan 130 gas turbines, Siemens SGT800 gas turbines, reciprocating engines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and associated balance of plant infrastructure.The scope includes major civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, underground utility, control systems, and commissioning works required to support phased energization and turnover of the facility. Construction will be executed through a combination of direct hire and subcontracted labor supported by modularization, pre-assembly, offsite warehousing, and advanced work packaging methodologies.Job SummarySupports field execution of cable tray installation, cable pulling, cable terminations, identification, and testing activities across the project. Responsible for technical coordination, quantity tracking, inspection support, turnover documentation, and ensuring cable systems are installed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and energization requirements.Major ResponsibilitiesSpecialization & ExpertiseProvides knowledge and expertise in a particular discipline, subject matter, or specialized process required for construction (e.g., tunnel boring, site de-watering, glove boxes, special coatings systems, HVAC systems, Fire Detection and Suppression, reactor tender gallery coordinator, etc.) Provides technical consultation support to projects. Work Planning & PackagingPrepares construction drawings and sketches. Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans. Material ManagementInitiates requisitions for field purchases. Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. QuantitiesLeads the verification of commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required. Safety / Quality ControlEnsures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
