Senior Systems Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Serve as a senior technical role within the IT department, providing technical insights for system design, implementation, and optimization. Collaborate with IT architecture to define strategy and implement high-quality systems. Design and deliver complex IT system initiatives, including cloud, non-cloud, and hybrid-cloud systems. Influence other IT teams, leadership, and business partners on secure and reliable application hosting. Lead discussions with business partners and vendors to gather information and define system requirements. Develop future plans, resource requirements, migration strategies, and project schedules.What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Networking with 4-7 years of IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, or disaster/recovery experience, or 6-9 years of relevant experience. Experience with system administration and designing/documenting processes and procedures. Proven ability to transition work to operational teams and maintain experience with storage and backup engineering, design, and operations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate highly technical information effectively to non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, work in teams, and influence stakeholders.
