Residential Assistant Superintendent

Job Description: As a Residential Assistant Superintendent the candidate will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring that our team's project meets the company standards and specifications stated on contract documents. This is inclusive of but not limited to engineering drawings, material lists, fabrication lists, internal quality standards, and related contract documents for the specific project. The Residential Assistant Superintendent reviews and reports to the residential superintendent regarding execution of daily activities related to specific projects. The goal is to ensure all tasks are complete to the company's quality standard while maintaining efficiency. Responsibilities: Interpret and review residential shop drawings. Pump up and cover hydro inspections with AHJ. Cover final inspections with AHJ. Review jobsite prior to installation to identify conflicts with design/material list. Work closely with key personnel to develop and establish inventory and quality standards for material, components, and supply requirements. Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements. Work with other managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality. Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets internal quality standards, specifications, and owner requirements. Works diligently to meet project schedules. Assists with scheduling site work, material deliveries and inspections. Requirements: Knowledge of fire protection systems NFPA 13D and NFPA 13R Demonstrated ability to problem-solve effectively, thoroughly, and efficiently Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Self-starter with the ability to self-manage Experience preferred but not required.
