Electrical Engineer
Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Franksville, Wisconsin (onsite only)
Job Description: Mandatory Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of design experience with PCBA design and electrical circuits
- Experience with engineering analysis and digital simulation (CAD, FEA, statistical analysis, software applications, electrical analysis tools, etc....).High voltage design experience and power system analysis experience
- Experience with PCB development tools
- Product design, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing knowledge.
- Excellent computer and data analysis skills including Microsoft Office suite.
- Problem solving experience using Root Cause Analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical aptitude to troubleshoot Analog & Digital designs at the component level
- Project leadership skills
- Knowledge of Green belt training Responsibilities: Develop and maintain product designs, BOMs, drawings, and specifications for control systems and protective relays.
- Support new product introductions and engineering changes for existing products.
- Resolve production, manufacturing, and testing issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with suppliers and Supplier Quality Engineers to evaluate capabilities, conduct assessments, and approve components.
- Investigate product quality and reliability issues; document findings and support customer communications.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Design for Six Sigma, DFM, and DFA methodologies.
- Perform engineering analyses and simulations using CAD, FEA, and other engineering tools.
- Coordinate product verification, validation, and reliability testing with internal and external laboratories.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and overall performance.
