Application Architect

Solu Technology Partners is seeking a part-time experienced Application Architect with strong business analysis and project management skills to assess the functionality of approximately 20 custom applications and research options for replacing each. The applications are primarily built in C# with a SQL backend. This role will work closely with business users and subject matter experts to evaluate current systems, document requirements, and recommend replacement strategies.ResponsibilitiesAssess the functionality of approximately 20 existing custom applications and evaluate potential replacement options. Work directly with business users and subject matter experts to understand current systems, business processes, and future needs. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and document findings. Research and recommend potential solutions for replacing existing applications. Document business and functional requirements and present recommendations clearly to stakeholders. Provide project coordination and guidance throughout the assessment and analysis process. Direct and support the work of a business analyst involved in the evaluation efforts. Communicate regularly with city employees through in-person meetings and video conferencing during standard business hours. Produce clear documentation and reports to support decision-making for application replacement strategies.Qualifications:4 year college degree or equivalent technical study 8 years experience analyzing, determining, and documenting functional requirements. 8 years experience providing definition on how the applications will support business requirements. 8 years experience providing detailed definition on how the applications will support business requirements. 8 years experience coordinating the design and development of work estimates and acting as the primary point of contact. Assist in managing and directing application team pro 8 years experience organizing and preparing work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems. 8 years experience working with client to identify direction of software. 8 years experience ensuring business requirements are supported by the software. 8 years experience understanding specific business needs and overall business strategy of the business customer. 8 years experience ensuring that overall application designs remain within project scope. 8 years experience providing standard, well-structured work planning which defines scope, resources, commitments, quality, risk, tasks, and acceptance criteria. 8 years experience guiding processes for business analysts and directing work planning and design activities. 8 years experience working with customer business units to understand their business processes. 8 years experience working with customer business units and client to identify direction of software. Ensure business requirements are supported by the software. 8 years experience ensuring goals for Functional Architects are being met and managing team commitments. 8 years experience analyzing, defining, and documenting how the applications will support functional and business requirements. Coordinate these efforts with Functional Archite 8 years experience researching options to replace custom applications and proposing solutions to leadership. 8 years experience developing business documentation and presentations. Present recommendations to leaders and executives
