Job Title: Regional Property ManagerLocation: Remote within Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana – Weekly Travel RequiredSalary: $90,000-$100,000Skills: Prior multi-family experience as a Regional ManagerOverview:A growing, well-capitalized multifamily owner-operator is seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of conventional apartment communities across the Southeast. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys being in the field.This organization is known for its strong culture, operational discipline, and commitment to developing its people—offering the stability of an established platform with the agility of a growth-focused company.Responsibilities:Direct and oversee a portfolio of properties, ensuring operational excellence across office administration, leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.Drive the financial performance of each property by meeting or exceeding annual budget targets and managing collection efforts for optimal results.Ensure effective implementation of company policies and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing and ADA requirements.Monitor and evaluate marketing and outreach programs, recommending enhancements to maximize occupancy and rental income.Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor on-site staff to achieve property and company objectives, evaluating and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.Supervise maintenance scheduling, contractor bidding, preventative maintenance, and compliance inspections for property upkeep.Champion superior customer service standards, handling resident communications, service requests, and conflict resolution efficiently.Conduct regular property inspections, track vacancy reconciliations, and confirm all reporting and documentation meet company requirements.Must-Have Requirements:Prior experience as a Regional Property ManagerExtensive multifamily operations experience (1,000+ units)Strong financial acumen (budgets, NOI, variance analysis)Comfortable with frequent travelLeadership ability across diverse personalities and teamsHands-on operator with ability to both strategize and executeNice-to-Have Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.Experience with property management software, such as Yardi Voyager or Rent Café.Knowledge of loss prevention, risk management, and workplace safety best practices.Proven ability to manage marketing strategies to maximize occupancy rates.Prior experience conducting staff onboarding, eLearning facilitation, and performance evaluations.
