Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Florence, AL Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,210 to $1,410 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a great facility in Florence, AL. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Active Alabama COTA license required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. (May be required depending on facility). Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Demonstrated competency with ADL/IADL training, therapeutic modalities commonly used in SNF settings, and restorative nursing programs. Ability to document electronically using EMR systems. Experience with common SNF EMRs preferred. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a COTA preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0800-1630. Work Days: Monday through Friday. Assignment Type: Travel contract. Contract weeks: 14. Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week. Meal Break: 30 minutes.
