AEM Lead Developer/Architect

AEM ArchitectVerticurl is seeking a Adobe AEM Architect to design and develop web-based applications. The role will be a hands-on development role involving adobe solution architecture, documenting solutions, development work, leading code reviews and organizing knowledge transfer sessions with internal and external teams. This is a key senior level lead role within an emerging team. Individual must possess leadership ability, and desire to help define and drive the team forward.You will be instrumental to achieve charters key performance indicators. As part of the team, you will work with client's marketing, sales, IT, customer support and other functions to understand their requirements and pain points and build features to address them.Responsibilities:Manage client expectations by capturing technical requirements and goals for web development.Manage a team of AEM developers and continue to build out our team in USWell versed with other Adobe Marketing cloud products like Assets, Target, Analytics Forms and etc.Open to pick up other Martech products that share similar tech stack.Advise clients on best practices in web development.Work with offshore/near shore teams to define AEM standards and execution plans.Provide progress updates for the team to project managers on individual projectsDevelop custom AEM components, OSGi services, workflows, MSMLead internal design and code reviewsLead day to day development efforts of development teamStrong integration experience to build custom connectors when there is no product support.Co-ordinate complex changes and requirements with frontend developersAssist in organizing training for new staffAssist in creation of technical documentationRequirements:7-9+ years of experience in Adobe AEM/Java preferably with large-scale enterprise applications or websitesBachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent 5+ years work experienceSelf-starter with strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skillsExperiencing managing teamsAbility to mentor junior developers and lead developers of all levelsExpert level knowledge of Adobe AEM 6.x and Java - delivering solutions in production environments.Proven understanding of MVC architecture.Knowledge of database technology (MySQL, NoSQL)Knowledge and experience with both Agile and Waterfall methods and flexibility to work with both as neededAbility to work under pressure and manage tough situations in a rapid-paced environment
