Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Planning and ManagementDevelop project plans, including timelines and resource allocation/planning, as applicableCoordinate and follow-up on key actions with internal and external stakeholders, as needed.Lead/manage project(s) as assigned by team leader / management based on business needsMonitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completionMitigate risks and help with problem resolution to keep schedules on timeTechnical Support and Design:Development of requirements and specifications for electrical and mechanical systemsCreate, review and/or approve engineering designs, drawings and specificationsEnsure compliance to industry standards, codes and regulationsAssist with other engineering tasks as defined by internal / external stakeholdersCommunication and Reporting:Prepare and present project status to stakeholders in format(s) acceptable to the team members.Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholdersHelp address any issues or concerns that arise during the project lifecycleOther Responsibilities, as needed:Proactively engage in continuous improvement activities for design, manufacturing, and productionOther responsibilities as assigned by team leader / management.Compliance:Complete cybersecurity and compliance training as required by policyReport suspected cybersecurity incidents or other security concerns to management as specified in policy and training materialEscort and monitor visitors to the facility as required by training REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical / Mechanical)5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar roleProficient in project management software/tools and/or methodologiesAdept with MS Word, Excel (filters, formulas, short cuts etc.), and PowerPointMust be detail orientedStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong written and verbal communication with an emphasis on interpersonal and organizational skillsIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervisionWillingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge and experience with electrical and electronic systemProject management certification/experienceCompany DescriptionWhen you join ProCustom Group, you become a member of an innovative, ambitious, and talented team, dedicated in creating customized rugged solutions for the defense industry.
