Ultrasound Tech Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $2,007 to $2,207 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This role supports radiology services in a hospital setting. Minimum Requirements: National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer. Preferred experience in hospital radiology departments and trauma-center environments. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience performing abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, and limited echocardiography studies preferred. Proficiency with hospital PACS and ultrasound imaging equipment. Experience with high-acuity patient populations preferred. Ability to work in a Level II trauma center environment and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift: Days. Shift hours: 0600-1830.
