Senior Project Manager - Industrial
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Project Manager/Team Leader to join our Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE) national practice. This role will support a growing portfolio of industrial and advanced manufacturing projects and offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. This position will include advisory interaction with our clients' leadership and executive teams, guiding them in decisions around their most important CAPEX initiatives.Be involved in impactful projects with our Property & Buildings / Industrial team and be part of a global organization that is driven by innovation, technical excellence, and a commitment to client success.Your ImpactAs a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex industrial facilities projects from planning through execution, while managing client relationships, project teams, schedules, and budgets.ResponsibilitiesPrimary driver on critical pursuits, responsible for developing and implementing winning strategies for expanding our business and facilitating team growth.Build and manage a book of business as Program Manager/Leader, mentoring other PMs into similar roles growing our large client baseForesees and anticipates project issues, provides guidance to mitigate risksLead and manage industrial facilities projects, including advanced manufacturing, distribution, and process-driven facilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget are metCoordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, engineering, and specialty consultantsOversee project planning, scheduling, and staffingFinancial performance management for both projects and teamsSupport business development efforts, including proposal development and client presentationsIdentify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with WSP standardsMentor and support junior project managers and technical staffCollaborate closely with regional and national ICoE leadershipQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum 12+ years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing facilities-related projectsProven experience leading project management and multidisciplinary design teams including direct and indirect reporting team members and partners.Strong understanding of industrial facilities, manufacturing environments, and building systemsExperienced with alternate construction delivery models on greenfield and brownfield industrial projects including new construction, facility and system upgrades, and facility retrofitsExcellent client management, communication, and leadership skillsSkilled at managing project financials, schedules, and contractsPMP certification or PE license preferred, but not requiredPreferred ExperienceAdvanced manufacturing or industrial facilities project experienceExperience working with large, complex projects and multiple stakeholdersFamiliarity with design-build or alternative delivery methodsWSP Benefits:WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career.
