Demonstrates thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality. Applying professional knowledge, prepares patients for the procedure, and educates and responds to the questions or concerns. Ensures age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education, and principles of physical/functional growth and development. Demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques.
