Role Description This full-time, on-site role as a DSP Test Proctor is located at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The DSP Test Proctor is responsible for supervising students during exams to ensure a fair and distraction-free testing environment that complies with university policies. This role includes preparing testing materials, addressing inquiries, verifying student identification, and ensuring that accommodations provided to students with disabilities are consistently implemented. Maintaining a professional, courteous, and inclusive environment for all test-takers is a key aspect of this position. Qualifications Experience with Proctoring and ensuring adherence to standardized testing protocolsStrong Communication and interpersonal skills to guide and assist students effectively during testingProven Customer Service and problem-solving abilities to address concerns in a timely and professional mannerBackground in Training or Education is beneficial for understanding institutional guidelines and student needsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyBasic technical skills to handle any testing-related software or equipmentCommitment to teamwork and fostering an inclusive testing environment
