SOC Analyst

We are currently seeking an IT Security Analyst who will be monitoring computer networks for security issues. This person will also investigate cyber security incidents as well as security breaches. Monitor computer networks for security issues. Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents. Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause. Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.Stay current on IT security trends and news.Develop company-wide best practices for IT securityHelp colleagues install security software and understand information security management.Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards Requirements Minimum 5 years of prior hands-on experience in cyber security or information technology disciplineBachelors degree in Cyber Security, Computer science or relevant work experienceReal world experience using at least one major SIEM systemExperience with log analysis, event correlation, incident management procedures and systemsUnderstanding of TCP/IP networking including knowledge of protocols and servicesSecurity Certifications (i.e. Security+, CISSP, CEH, SANS, etc.) Position is fully onsite. BA is required or 6 years of relevant experience.
