Final Polish Operator
2nd shift 3:30p - 12pm
$17-$18/hr - Entry Level - will train
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Log all orders into and out of barcode system
Change the wheel as necessary- complete any cleanup of dust trap and/or dressing of wheel
Deburring may use either a buff & polish machine or hand held polishing tool depending on where burr is located on tool
Carefully deburr tools to prevent damage to areas adjacent to the area being deburred
Run first piece, get First Piece Inspection
Inspect each part for defects or blemishes

Qualifications and requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous experience in product inspection desired but not mandatory
Must be quality conscious
Individual must be observant, detail oriented and patient
Willingness and ability to be trained to understand basic polishing methods
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and movements
Experience
0-6 months of previous shop experience preferred
Physical requirements
Work is performed in a shop environment: air conditioned, exposure to machinery noises. Exposure to coolants, lubricants, abrasive compounds, dust
Physical Effort: Work requires standing, stooping, bending and reaching. Frequently lift, handle and carry trays weighing up to 50 lbs.
