The organization operates in a hands-on production environment and is at an inflection point where improved financial infrastructure, inventory accuracy, and operational alignment are required. This is a high-priority initiative with strong visibility to stakeholders and an opportunity to drive meaningful impact in a short timeframe.Purpose Of Your Position:This engagement is designed for a hands-on accounting/finance leader to stabilize accounting processes and lead a core operational improvement initiative focused on inventory and costing. The role will partner closely with leadership to correct historical issues, implement scalable processes, and establish a more reliable financial foundation.Primary Responsibilities: • Lead efforts to normalize accounting practices and address historical inconsistencies in financial reporting • Evaluate and correct prior inventory and cost of goods methodologies to align with appropriate accounting standards • Establish a structured costing framework across materials, in-process production, and finished output • Improve integration and data flow between core financial systems and operational tools • Implement practical inventory control procedures to reduce volatility and improve accuracy • Drive enhancements to close processes, including reconciliations and reporting discipline • Build a streamlined reporting package suitable for leadership and external stakeholders • Partner with internal and external parties to ensure alignment on progress, priorities, and deliverables • Provide a clear execution roadmap with ongoing updates against key milestones • Experience operating at a senior accounting or finance leadership level in a hands-on capacity • Strong background in inventory-heavy environments with exposure to manufacturing or similar operations • Demonstrated ability to implement structured costing approaches and improve financial visibility • Experience working through accounting cleanups or process rebuilds in fast-moving environments • Ability to connect operational workflows with financial reporting outcomes • Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders in a high-visibility setting • Willingness to spend time on-site as needed to support operational executionNice to Have: • Exposure to smaller or mid-sized environments undergoing process transformation • Experience working alongside investors, lenders, or external advisors • Familiarity with improving system connectivity across finance and operationsEngagement Details: • Duration: 4–8 weeks • Start: ASAP
