Administrative Specialist
LPA is seeking a passionate Administrative Specialist to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. We offer competitive salaries and generous benefits, including health and dental insurance, retirement and financial, wellness and other work/life plans.What you will do:Receive and direct visitors and clientsProvide front desk coverage and support to the ReceptionistManage general office areas and conference roomsGeneral clerical duties including photocopying, mailing; opening, sorting, organizing and distributing incoming correspondencePrepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emailsFielding telephone calls, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filingArrange and schedule travel for staff company-wide - potentiallyHelp moderate firmwide meetings via Microsoft Teams - potentiallyCoordinate client and office events throughout the yearCoordinate catering and food for events, meetings, etc.Assist with company and contact management in Microsoft Dynamics softwareWhat we will do:Provide mentorship from Managers and DirectorsProvide opportunities and career growth - your success is our successIn-house management and leadership training opportunitiesProvide study grants for exploration - LPA for ChangeAdministrative Specialist Requirements:Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with Microsoft TeamsInterest in learning processes related specifically to design and construction related processes of the officeAbility to multitask and focus on various responsibilities at any given timeExperience in providing administrative support to management and technical staff - preferredEnthusiastic commitment to the team and work environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsCurious and open minded to learn and assume increased responsibilitiesCommitted to building a long-term professional careerProfessional, welcoming and respectful demeanor while interacting with both staff and clientsLPA is an integrated design firm with offices in California and Texas.
