Visit peraton.com to learn how we're keeping people around the world safe and secure.Program OverviewAbout The RolePeraton is hiring a Sensor Operations Planning Systems Engineer to support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community.As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will directly support the planning and management of sensor and data orchestration operations across the customer's enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Planning & ManagementSupport synchronization of collection operations, accesses, sensors, and data.Facilitate current and crisis operations response planning.Aid in optimizing resources against operational priorities.Ensure adherence to organizational processes that meet critical information needs and requirements.Knowledge ManagementDraft and maintain Concept of Operations (CONOP) documents.Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Capture and document lessons learned.Communication & RepresentationProvide clear operational status updates and planning options.Communicate effectively with leaders, stakeholders, and partners.Represent the organization within the Intelligence Community and to leadership.Relationship BuildingBuild and strengthen day-to-day relationships with critical partners.Collaborate across the customer's enterprise and Intelligence Community to enable successful operations.Risk Analysis & ComplianceHelp the customer understand risks associated with targeting strategies, technologies, and collection platforms.Develop effective risk mitigation strategies.Identify relevant operational authorities and ensure compliance with intelligence oversight requirements.Interdisciplinary Collaboration & IntegrationWork across software, hardware, and operational disciplines.Integrate diverse technical solutions to support mission success.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline with a minimum of 20 years of general systems engineering experienceMaster's degree or PhD in a qualified engineering field or related discipline with a minimum of 18 years of general systems engineering experienceHigh school diploma or GED with a minimum of 24 years of general systems engineering experienceTechnical ExpertiseExtensive knowledge of Mid-Point SIGINT systems and their employment strategiesStrong understanding of the customer's operational requirements processesKnowledge of collection system design and deployment of antenna systems in operational environmentsRF Signal Processing knowledgeFamiliarity with current and advanced technologiesExperience with Security and CountermeasuresAbility to write and communicate effectively; creative and organized approachOperational ExpertiseBackground in Strategic SIGINT Intelligence OperationsCollection, analysis, and exploitation of signals using specialized platforms and aircraftPrevious military and/or combat zone experience strongly preferredExperience with strategic-level operational planning, advisory, and managementDemonstrated ability to navigate multiple demand signals under resource and schedule constraintsPreferably former Chief Operating Officer (COO) or similar leadership-level experienceOther RequirementsActive TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.#AJCAREERS # MPOJOBSSCA / Union / Intern Rate or RangeDetailsTarget Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000.
