Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description Description:We Are Hiring: Speech/Language PathologistPart Time /Full-time a week 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, M/TH; Fridays 8:00 AM-2:30 PM preferred. Must have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.Experience required in Acute Care treatments such as Swallow treatment, Performing a Modified Barium Swallow or Trach/vent treatments and pediatrics therapy interventions. Do:Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy.Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.Educate and counsel patient and family regarding treatment plans.Maintain clinical records and follows performance improvement recommendations.Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services. Provide information regarding appropriate support programs.What You Will Need:Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:Master's degree preferred.Additional Preferences: No additional preferences.
