Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated General Labor Demolition worker to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with demolition projects across various construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient removal of structures and materials. Duties
Assist with the demolition of buildings, structures, and interior spaces following project plans and safety guidelines.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision to remove materials such as drywall, flooring, roofing, and masonry.
Support the disassembly of fixtures including windows, doors, cabinets, and trim carpentry components.
Prepare sites for renovation or new construction by clearing debris and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute demolition tasks accurately.
Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and transportation of debris to designated disposal areas.
Skills
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
Knowledge of construction management principles and construction site safety procedures.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
Familiarity with building materials installation including drywall, flooring, stucco, caulking, and roofing.
Proficiency in using Bluebeam or similar digital markup software is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction inspection processes and quality standards.
Experience with outdoor work environments across various weather conditions.
Skills in framing carpentry, window installation, door hanging, masonry, welding, and concrete finishing are desirable.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics for various building systems such as electrical and plumbing.
Knowledge of restoration techniques including plastering and hardscape installation.
Capable of following detailed instructions related to remodeling projects or building material installation.
