Tax Manager (30% fee)

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $165,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:Prepare and file federal and state tax returns accurately and on timeDevelop tax strategies to ensure clients remain compliant with regulationsIdentify tax issues and propose effective solutions to resolve themComplete audit responses and prepare schedules for income tax auditsSupervise tax team members to ensure accuracy and compliance in tax filings Requirements:Understand written procedures and apply detailed notes to perform tasks consistentlyDemonstrate strong written communication skills in tax documentation and client correspondenceSolve tax-related problems using research and technical expertiseUse tax compliance and research tools with proficiencyPerform basic and advanced math calculations accurately and consistently Qualifications:An active CPA or EA license with 5+ years of corporate tax experienceApply strong technical skills in tax compliance, accounting, and consultingCommunicate effectively and lead teams with strong interpersonal and mentoring skillsManage and support non-attestation services including property tax, payroll, and M&A consultingPrefer Japanese language skills and flexibility to work across various service areasREF#51066
