Position DescriptionThe best version of us starts with You!We CGI is seeking to hire an experienced Systems Analyst to join our Technology organization and help build a leading Alternative Investments platform. This role is ideal for a client-focused, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience across Alternative Investments, Digital Assets, Private Markets, and Liquid Alternatives. You'll work closely with business partners, product owners, and engineering teams to design, modernize, and deliver impactful solutions at the intersection of business, data, and technology.This role is ideal for a strategic, digitally savvy problem solver who thrives in fast paced environments and enjoys working at the intersection of business needs, technology modernization, and customer experience.In this role you will support multiple pods focused on platform health, scalability, and modernization. Your work will directly contribute to product launches, advisor led tools, and integration initiatives that strengthen our insurance technology ecosystem. This is a hands-on, high impact role where you will collaborate with architects, engineers, product owners, and business partners to deliver solutions that drive measurable outcomes.This is a Full Time Employment opportunity based in in Merrimack, NH, or Smithfield, RI in a Hybrid Working Model.Your future duties and responsibilitiesAnalyze, design, and document end to end system interactions across multiple applications and servicesDevelop detailed solution requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and data mapping for moderate to complex systemsEvaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainabilitySupport modernization initiatives, including migration to new platforms, services, and integration patternsWork with REST, SOAP, JSON, and API based integrations to support new and existing capabilitiesUse SQL to analyze data, validate logic, and support troubleshootingInterpret code and technical architecture to understand system behavior and business logicProduce business flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and system interaction documentationPartner with product owners, architects, business analysts, and engineering teams to define and refine requirementsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readinessCoordinate release activities and ensure smooth deployment of new features and enhancementsInvestigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend long term fixesWrite Splunk queries and build dashboards/alerts to monitor system healthSupport continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and operational processesApply Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices using Gherkin/Cucumber where applicableRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This RoleAt least 12+ years of professional experience as a Systems Analyst supporting software applications or platformsStrong background in requirements analysis, system design, and documentation for complex systemsHands on experience with SQL, APIs, REST/SOAP services, and data integrationProven experience working in Agile environmentsProficiency with Scrum tools (Jira preferred)Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skillsAbility to produce clear, concise, and accurate technical documentationExperience supporting production systems, including incident analysis and monitoring.Preferred qualifications:Familiarity with enterprise architecture conceptsExperience with platform modernization or cloud native transformation initiativesKnowledge of BDD frameworks (Gherkin/Cucumber)Ability to interpret code (any language) to understand business logicExperience working in insurance or financial services domainEducation: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
