Position: Accounting and Payroll Specialist (Contractor)Location: Hybrid (Remote + Occasional On-site)• 1-2 days per month in-officeSchedule: 3 days per weekCompensation: $4,000/month (Contract) Summary of the Position:Seeking a reliable Accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting. This role will handle invoicing, payroll, monthly close, and compliance tasks while working closely with an external accounting firm and overseas headquarters. Key Responsibilities:Issue monthly customer invoices and manage accounts receivable and accounts payableProcess semi-monthly payroll accurately and on scheduleSupport monthly closing process in coordination with an external accounting firmProcess vendor invoices and rent payments via wire transferManage corporate documentation and state filings through external service providersCollaborate with overseas headquarters on annual budgetingHandle compliance tasks such as 1099/W-2 filings, insurance renewals, and tax-related documentationLead fiscal year-end closing process to ensure accurate financial recordsQualifications:Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related roleHands-on experience with QuickBooksKnowledge of accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and financial closing processesAbility to work independently and manage multiple deadlinesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable working with external vendors and international teamsApplication Form
