If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working cross-functionally with project teams, we’d love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in managing the financial health of active construction projects. You’ll partner with Project Managers and leadership to ensure accurate reporting, timely payments, and compliance across all accounting activities.Process, code, and route invoices and subcontractor pay applications in a paperless systemEnsure timely vendor payments and monitor accounts for accuracyReconcile transactions, credit cards, and monthly vendor statementsPrepare weekly check runs and subcontractor payment packagesSupport Accounts Receivable by preparing and managing owner requisitionsCollaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely approvals and accurate job costingTrack Notices to Owner (NTOs), lien releases, and compliance documentsProcess subcontractor change orders and maintain updated project budgetsAssist with month-end close, accruals, and journal entriesProvide responsive support to internal teams and vendors regarding accounting inquiriesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in AccountingExperience with Accounts Payable and project accounting (construction industry preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe AcrobatFamiliarity with accounting systems (Sage 100 preferred)Knowledge of AIA billing, lien releases, NTOs, and Certificates of InsuranceExperience working in a paperless AP environment (pVault a plus)Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detailAbility to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environmentExcellent communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusWhat you get in returnYou will receive a salary of up to $95k, yearly bonus potential, full benefits, and the opportunity to work with a high performing team!What to do nextApply today and help build smarter, stronger projects with financial excellence at the core!
