Pediatric Gastroenterologist Physician - Per Diem – Rowan Virtua SOM

OverviewRowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine is currently seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Gastroenterologist that specializes in pediatric care to join a dynamic academic Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. Opportunities to teach the next generation of leaders in the medical field are a part of this position. In support of Rowan Medicine's mission and vision, the selected candidate will provide and manage direct patient care at one or more of the out-patient clinical offices located in the Southern New Jersey area. The gastroenterologist will provide patient care on a referral basis at our clinical offices. Responsibilities will include providing consultative services as well as direct patient care including evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment for gastroenterological disorders. Responsibilities Provide consultative services and direct patient care for gastroenterological disorders Perform evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments as part of routine gastroenterology care Work as part of an interdisciplinary team within the Department of Pediatrics Contribute to teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents Qualifications Valid NJ Medical License CDS DEA Board Certification Salary and Benefits Salary is competitive and is accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
