Dance Instructor

Dance 4 Wellness is seeking dance instructors and assistants for an after school program for 2nd-5th graders. Dance Styles can vary but teachers must be skilled at teaching children. Class structure will be a basic warm up, some basic technique like grapevine, ball change, chase, chaine, etc. and then come kind of dance combo of your choosing. Our teachers vary from jazz dancers to line dancers to hip hop dancers to latin dancers. Some teachers will need to develop basic musical theatre style choreography for the theatre program. The show music will be Madagascar, Frozen, Schoolhouse Rock and Shrek. Schedule will either be MWF or T/TH from 2-6pm. 5 month contract Teachers are paid $35/hr and Assistants $25/hr $150 gas card is also gifted monthly Job Type: Contract Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Schedule: 4 hour shift Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: Oxnard, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Teaching (Required) Work Location: In person
