This role is responsible for promoting a strong culture of safety, ensuring OSHA compliance, and partnering closely with project leadership to maintain safe and efficient job site operations.This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional looking for long-term growth with strong leadership support and a manager who is committed to helping their team succeed.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety plansConduct daily safety inspections, audits, and follow-up on corrective actionsLead on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety meetingsEnforce site safety procedures, rules, and quality control measuresIdentify hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent incidentsLead investigations for injuries, accidents, incidents, and near missesPrepare detailed incident reports and root cause analysesEnsure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and required recordkeepingSubmit weekly training reports and monthly safety reports to the EHS DirectorCoordinate with medical personnel and emergency responders when necessaryWork closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams to integrate safety into daily operationsSupport subcontractors in meeting project safety requirementsComplete and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Toolbox Meeting Checklists, and daily field reportsServe as the primary point of contact for field-related safety decisions and concernsRequired QualificationsCHST or CSP certification requiredWillingness and ability to travel 100% of the timeMinimum 2–4 years of construction safety experienceStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practicesOSHA 30 certification (or equivalent)Current First Aid and CPR CertificationStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and solve problems effectivelyAbility to coordinate multiple teams and priorities simultaneouslyClean driving record and ability to be insured by company insuranceAbility to pass state and federal background checks for site accessPreferred QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related fieldExperience with Microsoft Office, Procore, and related softwareCertified to operate construction-related equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, man lifts, and similar equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plansPhysical RequirementsAbility to access and navigate all areas of active construction sites in all weather conditionsStanding, walking, climbing, lifting up to 80 lbs., and working in physically demanding environmentsIf you’re a safety-driven leader looking for a high-growth opportunity with strong support and the ability to make a real impact in the field, we’d love to connect.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementReliance One, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
