Senior Application Architect (Enterprise)

Our team is looking for someone with strong application architecture depth and a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.What you’ll doShape and evolve enterprise application architecture across a complex landscapeDefine standards, patterns, and governance to improve scalability and consistencyPartner with business and technology leaders to align architecture with real prioritiesGuide platform and solution decisions across Microsoft, SaaS, and integration-heavy environmentsIdentify gaps and drive roadmaps for modernization and improvementWork closely with engineering teams to ensure architecture is practical and deliveredCommunicate architecture direction and tradeoffs to senior stakeholdersStrong fit if you:Have deep experience in application architecture (design patterns, integrations, logical architecture)Have worked across complex application ecosystemsBalance strategy with hands-on involvementInfluence architecture decisions while partnering closely with engineeringNot a fit if your background is primarily:Infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps-heavy architectureHigh-level enterprise architecture without involvement in deliveryExperience and environment~8+ years in application or enterprise architecture rolesExperience with platforms such as M365, Azure, SaaS, ERP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, MuleSoftStrong understanding of integration patterns and scalable designComfortable in Agile and traditional delivery environmentsExperience in large, complex organizations is helpfulAdditional detailsFull-time Direct-HireChicago-based (hybrid, 3 days onsite a week Tues-Thurs) Compensation: $195-220K base + bonus (8-15+%)
