Director, Originations - Private Credit

Overview A growing multi-strategy investment firm is seeking an SVP for Business Development to join their team. This role sits at the intersection of deal sourcing and capital deployment across private credit and growth equity, with a focus on the technology sector. The ideal candidate brings deep relationships, sharp analytical instincts, and a track record of executing in lower and middle-market environments. Responsibilities Source, originate, and evaluate new investment opportunities across the technology sector, including private credit and growth equity transactions. Lead deal execution end-to-end from initial diligence through investment memos while coordinating with internal teams and external counsel. Build and maintain relationships with founders, management teams, and intermediaries to support deal flow and portfolio monitoring. Partner with the investment committee to evaluate strategic and financial merits of proposed transactions and contribute to portfolio growth initiatives. Qualifications 8 - 10 years of buy-side experience at a private credit or growth equity firm, with a focus on lower or middle-market transactions. Demonstrated originations track record with established relationships across the technology sector, including founders and intermediaries. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience preparing investment memos, financial models, and supporting deal committee processes. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including investors, executives, and legal counsel.
