About the Position
As the DevOps/Cloud Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s Azure cloud infrastructure and leading a cross-functional team of IT professionals to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. Your role will include architecting cloud solutions, optimizing resource utilization, and implementing automation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. This is a high-impact role that combines technical leadership with strategic oversight to ensure the success of cloud-based operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the team in establishing and maintaining cloud infrastructure in Azure.
Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and secure cloud architectures supporting various applications.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and management of resources.
Design and implement cloud networking solutions, including VPNs, subnets, and VNet peering.
Lead efforts for high availability, disaster recovery, and proactive monitoring of the cloud environment.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture teams to integrate applications and services.
Manage and refine continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) strategies.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards, including multi-factor authentication and identity management.
Troubleshoot production outages and lead incident resolution.
About You
You are an experienced DevOps/Cloud leader with extensive experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure. You excel in Azure environments and have deep technical expertise in cloud networking, IaC, and CI/CD processes. Your leadership ensures that your team operates efficiently and that all cloud solutions align with both security and performance standards.
Desired Qualifications
· Minimum 6 years designing and implementing highly available Azure cloud architectures.
· Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, using tools such as Terraform and ARM templates.
· Strong experience with Azure technologies, including AD, O365, Kubernetes, and storage services.
· Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices, including Azure DevOps.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
· Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
About the Hiring Process
We aim to have a thorough hiring process that will provide you with quick feedback. You will participate in interviews with the Corporate Controller and Contracts Manager. and potentially with another executive within CTEC.
Your interviews will dive deep into previous experiences and results, as well as provide an opportunity to discuss various business scenarios in a case interview format. As part of the case interview, you may be asked to review sanitized financial data and provide analysis in real time. This case interview will mimic real business processes and challenges that you would be expected to engage with and solve on the job. If selected to interview, please familiarize yourself with case interviews (Google and YouTube can be great resources) in advance.

Pay: $124,372.00 - $134,912.00 per year
