Job Title: Data Engineer (FlexCube)Location: REMOTEStart Date: 4/1Job Duration: 8 monthsof Openings:1Project:FlexCube Upgrade ProjectRequirements:SAPS BODS ETL ToolsData EngineeringInformatica IICSRedwood SchedulerVery strong in Python/Unix scriptingVery Strong in SQLNice to Have:AWSSnowflakeDay to day responsibilities:This position needs to perform a lead data engineer role to manage the design, development and maintenance of data applications including "Flexcube Upgrade" initiative.Design – Data pipeline design, development and maintenance.Quality – Data quality integrity, security and integration testing.Maintenance – Troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with data applications.Mentoring – Guide and mentor data engineers both onsite and offshore.Solutions – Driving guidelines for data engineering workflows – collection, ingestion, cleansing, storage and serving.Learning – Learn new technologies and open to work on legacy data warehouse application tools and technologies.Data Modeling – Dimensional modeling design to optimize storage and data access for analytical purposes.SQL – Expertise in complex SQL queries to extract, transform and load data.Data Warehouse – Data warehouse design, architecture and optimization techniques for large datasets.ETL – Design and implement Extract, Transform, Load pipelines to prepare data for analysis.Testing – Testing the data pipelines, ensuring the quality and reliability of data flowing through the system, mentoring test engineers in building comprehensive test strategies.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop appropriate data solutions.Conduct UAT and end user training.SAP BODS, IICS, DataStage, Oracle, Netezza, Python & Redwood.SAP BODS, Oracle, PLSQL, Snowflake, AWS Services like S3, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift.TSG is an equal opportunity employer.
