Previous experience in the cannabis industry is strongly preferred, though our priority is finding a team player with quality retail experience who fits the company culture, takes exquisite care of our customers, and is equally committed to driving sales and the overall success of our center. In exchange, you'll get to join an incredible family of passionate cannabis professionals and benefit from continual opportunities for professional development and industry education.The ResponsibilitiesConduct sales and customer service through maintaining a properly stocked, organized, uncluttered, safe, and inviting store environmentPromote work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, including greeting customers warmly when they enterComply with established state, local and company policies and proceduresStaying up-to-date with new products, strains, changes in law, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of customer serviceEducate patients about a variety of cannabis products including flower, edibles, and concentrates, providing information on cannabis products based on patient needs/requestsAdvising patients on proper safety measures to follow when consuming cannabisMaintain and use completely and accurately (POS) and METRC systems for all in-store, online, and phone ordersHandle completely and accurately cash and discount applicationVerify proper paperwork, documentation and ID of all customersMaintaining proper patient information and recordsVerifying proper identification and paperwork from patientsWeighing and packaging products as neededThe QualificationsExceptional interpersonal and customer service skillsSelf-motivated with a positive attitude, team-oriented and disciplined work ethicDetail-oriented; able to stay organized and on task in a fast-paced environmentPrevious retail cannabis experience strongly preferredExperience handling cash transactions and maintaining a balanced drawerAbility to perform to sales goals and team goals3+ years of experience in a retail environment2+ years of cannabis retail experience preferredHigh School DiplomaAdditional RequirementsMinimum of 21 years of ageMust pass any and all required background checksMust remain compliant with all state and company rules and regulationsMust be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).
