Supervisor, Certified Peer Recovery
We’re looking for a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Supervisor in Tennessee to join our Substance Use Disorder Program and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Drawing from your lived experience, you’ll provide guidance, encouragement, and support while helping members build healthier, more stable lives. Guide and support Peer Recovery Specialists while ensuring high-quality, person-centered care. Follow the Substance Use Disorder Program (a division of Mindoula) guidelines to assess needs, plan care, and complete screenings. Connect members to valuable community resources and services. Collaborate closely with care teams, including primary care providers, managed care organizations, and community partners. Help create a supportive, recovery-focused environment grounded in empathy and respect.Some of the responsibilities include:Partner with leadership and the enrollment team to grow the census and identify eligible members to enroll in the program.Act as a player/coach for a team of peers while modeling and exemplifying the company core values.Lead and manage a team of peers with the responsibility of overall team success – includes, but is not limited to, driving alignment with operations and clinical teamManage day to day operations of the peers including regular 1:1s, team meetings, and case conferences.Engage in ongoing performance management and coaching of team members to ensure all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner, including but not limited to, disciplinary action as necessary.Maintain a small caseload and provide back up to peers for clinical care during PTO, staff shortages, etc.Conduct meaningful outreach, provide education, and drive member enrollmentCollaborate with member, family and healthcare providers to develop an individualized recovery action plan.Identify and initiate referrals for social service programs – including financial, psycho-social, community and state supportive services.Complete documentation for client engagements, cancellations and care plan.Provide support to clients through a variety of settings and assists with support groups, as needed.Advocate for members and families as needed to ensure the patient’s needs and choices are fully represented and supported by the healthcare teamRepresent and promote the Substance Use Disorder Program/Mindoula through participation and interaction with community, professional organizations and community outreach efforts.Achieve set goals; Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and utilization management rounds and provide information to assist with safe transitions of care.Provide peer recovery support through the on-call crisis line.Promote responsible and ethical stewardship of company resources.Maintains excellent punctuality and attendance during work hours.Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist/CPRS in Tennessee. Certification is required.Previous supervisory experienceMinimum of two years of active recoveryPrevious experience working from home and organizing daily/weekly tasks preferredSelf-motivated, team player, adaptabilityReliable transportation and valid driver’s license.Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.Computer proficiency; must be able to type and navigate a Cloud-based environment and designated teleconferencing application.
