Industrial Supervisor

Gillmann Services, Inc. is in need of an industrial supervisor immediately. Must have power plant experience. As most of you know I do a lot of work for Dominion Power and their quality and safety expectations are second to none. Our customers are currently in Chesapeake, Smithfield, Franklin, Brunswick, Hopewell, Richmond, Roanoke Rapids on occasion and a few other hit and miss plants around the area. Must be flexible and willing to jump around between the plants listed above to meet the customers demands. Company truck, gas card, credit card, lap top and a lot of perks included. There will be opportunity to move up as a project manager if qualified in the near future. Pay depends on skill level plus bonuses. We are looking for someone who is well rounded and has experience with the following work. Reading blue prints and drawings. General power plant maintenance. Pipe fitting and welding experience. Conveying systems. Familiarity with pumps, blowers, fans. Ash recovery systems. Basic knowledge of boilers such as water wall tubes, economizer tubes, generation bank tubes, and their function. (We do carry a “R” stamp and perform routine tube repairs on occasion). Concrete work. Can run a crew of 5-25 men. Capable of doing material take off and having material ready for the job. Capable of keeping customer time sheets and daily progress reports when needed. Must be flexible and willing to work long hours and weekends at times.
