Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Purchasing Analyst/Specialist. This role is responsible for managing purchasing data and documentation, supporting supplier-related activities, and coordinating purchasing programs and projects. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate cost data, process compliance, and timely execution of purchasing initiatives.This team is fully on-site in Metro-Detroit, MI. They are looking for local talent who can hit the ground running. No relocation assistant or sponsorship provided at this time.Job DutiesManage purchasing data files, documentation, and system recordsLead and track supplier data requests and survey initiativesInput and maintain pricing data while resolving discrepancies with internal teamsSupport development and enforcement of internal purchasing procedures and compliance standardsAssist with purchasing audits and documentation requestsCoordinate purchasing planning projects and track progress against timelinesMonitor tasks related to new program launches and report status to leadershipCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and production needsSkills & ExperienceRequiredBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chainAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience with data management, reporting, and pricing analysisKnowledge of purchasing processes and supplier coordinationExperience working with ERP systems or data management toolsDesiredAutomotive industry experienceExposure to supplier quality or manufacturing environmentsExperience supporting audits or compliance processes (e.g., IATF)Program or project coordination experienceExperience managing supplier surveys or performance trackingBlue Chip Talent is an award-winning and woman-owned talent solutions provider based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
